APPLICATION
Copper THHN/THWN-2 conductors are primarily used in conduit and cable trays, when approved, for services, feeders and branch circuits in commercial or industrial applications .

Depending upon the product application, allowable temperatures are as follows: • THHN or T90 Nylon- Dry locations not to exceed 90° C. 
• THWN-2- Wet or dry locations not to exceed 90°C or locations not to exceed 75°C when exposed to oil. • THWN- Wet locations not to exceed 75°C or dry locations not to exceed 90°C or locations not to exceed 75°C when exposed to oil.

THHN, TFFN nylon sheathed wires and cables have better electrical and physical properties than ordinary PVC insulated wires and cables:
THHN, TFFN nylon sheathed wires and cables have good heat resistance, and have the characteristics of small weight loss at high temperature, which can improve the instantaneous thermal overload resistance of wires, and can slow down or reduce the escape or migration of PVC components.
THHN, TFFN nylon sheathed wire and cable have the characteristics of corrosion resistance, self-lubrication and oil resistance.
Compared with PVC insulated wires and cables of the same cross-section, nylon sheathed wires and cables have the characteristics of small outer diameter, light weight, and small static friction coefficient, which can improve the safety and applicability of laying.
Nylon sheathed wire rated working voltage 450/750V, used in household appliances, aerospace systems, construction and lighting,.
The long-term working temperature of THHN, TFFN nylon sheathed wire and cable is 90°C or 75°C, the laying temperature should not be lower than 0°C, and the bending radius should not be less than 4 times the outer diameter of the cable.
